First of all, a sort of disclaimer.  This was not a democratic contest in any way.  I’m the dictator, I decided.  Most of all it was NOT a contest for the, “Best Photo.”  There were some great photos, some by professional photographers.   I was looking for photos to paint.  Painting one of those perfect photos, which was already someone else’s art, would not be right.  I tend to favor the casual snapshot.   Thanks to everyone who sent me a photo.  Now to the winners!

FOURTH PLACE  goes to……..Mugzy Gordon!

Ok, you knew I love to paint Mugzy.  He wins a set of three cards and a set of ten gift tags.  
Here’s the original painting I did of him and his skin brudder.

Seen above is the ACTUAL PAINTING.  Now I’ll show you the gift tags and notecards Mugzy wins.  Congradulations, Mugzy Gordon!  Here below you see the gift tags, which come in sets of ten.

And here are Mugzy and his brudder are on notecards.  These are folded cards, with matching envelopes.  Inside it says, “MERRY  CHRISTMAS.”  There is also a little gray scale “stamp” of Mugzy.
